AIMS & OBJECTIVES

1. Adviser to NSE PH Branch on Codes & Standards
2. Advise NSE PH branch on application of Codes & Standards in professional services offered within the area covered by the branch

Terms of Reference (TOR)

1. To advise NSE PH Branch on all matters relating to Codes & Standards
2. To establish liaison with the National Codes & Standards Committee
3. To establish procedures to ensure effective application of relevant Codes & Standards in all engineering professional services in areas covered by the branch.
4. To liaison with all Divisional chapters through their representatives in the committee to obtain their work on codes and standards in their respective specialist areas.
5. To liaise with COREN ERM team in the state to ensure that they have relevant codes and standards of the various specialist areas as they go about their inspection services.
6. Establish liaison with relevant establishments that deal with and enforce codes and standards like SON, NAFDAC etc

Modus Operandi

• We can hold physical and hybrid meetings from time to time.
• We shall use our Whatsapp platform for passing a lot of information and for discussion of issues and taking necessary decisions.
• Members representing the various Divisional chapters should furnish the meeting with the codes and standards of their various chapters and Divisions including those being developed and domesticated.
